Pro Convertible Heavy duty Boom / Stand with Sandbag 13.5 ft

Features a steel base and column with aluminum risers. Can be rapidly converted into a stand with boom arm. The pivoting collar on the stand allows the top two extensions to be tilted for use as a telescopic boom arm. Supplied with a refillable sandbag for maximum stability. Attachment: 5/8" receiver and 5/8" stud with 1/4-20" and 3/8" threaded tips. The sturdy metal pivoting collar with locking levers. At one end of the arm is a light stand fitting with 3/8 size thread. The other has a rubber handle.

This makes a tremendous different for photographers. This unit allows for precise overhead positioning of your lights. Just move the sandbag to balance the light and the boom can be angled 180 degrees. It adds the convenience of a retractable boom arm to an already sturdy and useful stand. When used as a light stand at maximum extension it supports 12 lbs.

Pressing a lever releases the two section boom housed within the stand which extends to 84" (2.1 m); supporting 4.4 lbs (2 kg) when used with the included sandbag counterweight. The 6.9 lbs (3.1 kg) boom stand folds down to a compact 47.2" (1.2 m) when not in use.
